Puzzling - Video Log
November 30, 2087
Puzzling. Ever since I arrived in this world I'm dubbing Equis, I've seen some curious things but none so much as the division of weather, both natural and guided! I've seen these Pegasus ponies work on the weather, as in literally working on it. A snowfall is due soon, and I'm sure there's going to be ponies who are bringing the snow in buckets or what not.
It's all so fascinating, although a bit puzzling on how they do these things without the aid of any machinery other than the weather device in Cloudsdale. As a member of Overwatch's Ecological Division, I'm still documenting everything I see here.
It is truly fascinating, and I'm sure I could learn a lot in the manipulation of weather. Being a pegasus in this world, offers me new abilities. My cryo gun has been most helpful in chilling the water for snow production, which I have managed to produce on my very own!
In fact... Heads up!
[And she throws a snowball at someone nearby.]
Mei out.

Mei out.

Snow fight with a dragon? xD
A snowball?
[And now he's curiously looking about for the culprit that threw the ball, half wondering if they were trying to start a snowball fight.]
Re: Snow fight with a dragon? xD
[31 year old woman she might be, but she's also very, very childish sometimes.]
no subject
Instead of throwing it however, he just tries to drop it on her when she's looking at his front half. He didn't quite trust himself to throw something at someone quite yet... But a large pile of soft snow dropped on someone? That seemed safer...]
no subject
That was pleasant! Nothing like the crisp snow to get someone's heart pumping.
Better late than never?
As long as it's not storming, a bit of snow can be fun.
[Heavy storms made him nervous still, but he could find the fun and beauty in snow still.]
Re: Better late than never?
[Throws another snowball with a grin.]

Well, hopefully I'll have found a place to stay by then.
[His voice has a joking tone to it, but technically he was still homeless at the moment. Granted that would likely be fixed soon, but it was true till then.]
no subject
There's a lot of places that manage to be big enough for someone to live in.
no subject
I'm waiting to hear back about permission to use one of a few areas I've looked at. Sadly at my size, I do tend to take up a lot of space... [insert sheepish grin here] and floors aren't always strong enough...
no subject
You do, but I could probably make an ice fortress for you with enough time.
no subject
That's an interesting offer, but I think I'd need something that will last a bit longer than that... Granted, that would be quite a sight to see for as long as it would last...
[Skyfire looks down at his paws, considers something while he extends a claw for a moment before sheathing it again.] How do you feel about ice sculptures?
no subject
[She does actually. Her ice was almost supernaturally thick and wieldy.]
I could do that. Make some sculptures everywhere.
no subject
[He grins and chuckles.]
Want to see how many we can put up? It's not often I get a chance to carve ice and have it where others can see it.
no subject
[Unhooking the device from her back, she moved out into the wide area and aimed it. A spray of ice and snow erupted from the end of the endothermic gun and froze several pillars of ice.]
no subject
Got any requests? I'm not sure what would be appropriate here...
no subject
[Because that was easy. He could manage that.] I'll see about making a symbol from Overwatch.
no subject
What's a snowman? ... I don't think a sculpture of a human male would go over too well here?
[He's trying, but some things he's just got no frame of reference for as he'd not been around humans when such were made. Still, he's trying his best.]
no subject
[Snowball flying out, she made a three-tiered snowman and then picked up two rocks and placed them into eyes.]
See? Snowman.
no subject
[It doesn't take him very long to do that at all either. It looks a lot like the one she made, only bigger. Then he looks thoughtful and grins.]
How clear and strong can you make your ice? Because I have an idea...
[He uses a claw to start to sketch out a rough shape in the snow, changing it a few times as he tries to figure out how he can carve wings without them snapping off.]
no subject
[Because Mei was planning on making a huge ice block.]
no subject
[If she looks down at the very rough sketch he's been planning in the snow, it has a shape reminiscent of a pair of rearing pegasi, back to back with wings flared. No wonder he wants to be sure the ice will hold, at a larger size a falling wing might be dangerous.]
I can do a quick rough out on the small block, then you could use that as a guide to make a larger block? We don't want to put it anywhere that it could land on someone when it starts melting eventually.
no subject
[Aiming her gun, she started to build a thick ice block, growing it in size until it was about twice her size.]
There, that should do it.
no subject
[He grins at her and then spends the next several minuets carving out a rough shape of his idea, not adding a lot of detail however...] That should work, now, how big can I make it... [It will become apparent why when he starts to push on, and eventually snap off the wings and legs of the carving. Why make it overly detailed when it's just going to be broken in under a few minuets?]
Alright, so about three to four times that size is about the limit the ice should be able to take... Where do you think we should put it? We don't want it to be in the way or somewhere it could cause harm if it collapses once it starts to melt...
no subject
That way, you'll be able to work unimpeded and there'll be enough clearance for the statue.
