It's been half a month and no party, and with Totally The Beginning of Christmas But First Turkey Day coming around, I'm thinking we need a get together. A real one.

The locals and I have whipped up some kind of festival of happy leaves with us today! So food is ready. Come and get some!

“Turkey Day’s...that one, right? You eat a lot of food to celebrate the Native Unovans saving the Pilgrims from their eternal bondage to the cruel spirit of winter, right?”

Nodding. She’s got this down cold.

“And then their leader, Squanto, invented popcorn to give the Pilgrims the strength to continue living.”

"Sure we can go with that! I like it better than the actual origin of Turkey Day." said Pinkie, nodding.

Cause yeah, that sounded a lot better. And there was a lot of food here too to be eaten.

"Can I adopt that one?"

"Great! There'll be food and exciting games and all sorts of stuff! Come down and we'll have a ball!"

"Sugarcube Corner! We've set up a food table in front of the building."

“Got it!”

There’s a brief pause as Amelie spins up a hoop and sticks her head through to get a Flying type eye’s view of Ponyville. There’s a brief pause before she draws her head back out and addresses Pinkie through the compact.

“Found you! Be right over.”

With that, she spins up another hoop and steps through to Sugarcube Corner.

“Bonjour!”

"Wow-wee! That was cool! Do it again! It's like the Portal Gun!" Exclaimed Pinkie, hopping up and down in delight.

“Okay!”

Another pair of brass hoops appear next to Pinkie - if she looks into one, she’ll see the view from the other.

Pinkie's just going to STICK her head through one. "Wooooooow" proclaimed Pinkie's disembodied head.

“Ah, the detachable head trick! I love that one.”

"This is cool! I would love to play with this more," said Pinkie, pulling her head back through the hoop.

"I wonder if we can get powers here? I mean, I can make sugar explode but... That's not very practical."

[onaroll]

“In my experience, if you have one magic power, you just sort of acquire more as time goes by.”

Amelie nods to herself.

“I started out with just the ability to make permanent copies of anything I touched.”

"... Imagine how many sprinkles I could make with that," said Pinkie, tongue lolling out in a pant. "Mmmm...."

“I can help you build a stockpile, if you wanted?”

"Please! I'm running out of ammo AND decoration!" Exclaimed Pinkie, pulling out a bandoleer of sprinkles. She was short five out of six.

[onaroll]

Amelie trots forward and places a hoof on the last bottle of sprinkles. Copies of it immediately begin falling out of her...horn? Startled, she immediately tries to look at her own forehead.

“...you know, normally they appear out of my other hand...although I suppose I should have seen this coming?”

"Probably yeah, considering unicorn horns are sources of magic," said Pinkie, scooping up the sprinkles and placing them into the bandoleer.

[onaroll]

By the time Amelie’s gotten over the fact she’s spewing sprinkles out of her horn, she’s made something like five dozen bottles of the stuff.

“Just keep a bottle in reserve and I can restock for you whenever you want, oui?”

"Got it! So, you hungry? I'll bet you're hungry. We've got everything here!" Exclaimed Pinkie. "Even pizza!"

“Does it have corn?”

Look. Amelie was born in Japan. She has certain expectations.

"We've got a few corn pizzas," said Pinkie, nodding. "It makes for a great sub for ham."

[onaroll]

“You are about to have a whole lot more corn pizzas.”

Amelie has gotten into certain habits - when you’re not allowed to cook, you stock up on the things you can eat.

It helps to be able to make copies of everything you touch.

"Ooooh I getcha!" Exclaimed Pinkie. "Try it on the potato ones too. That's good too, it's spicy!"

Huh. Sounds pretty neat, but I don't really know what "First Turkey Day" is. Could you explain it to me?

[They don't have Thanksgiving in Japan. Only Christmas.]

It's the first Turkey Day of this place! Duh! It's a festival for eating well and being thankful for everypony here!

Besides, who doesn't like a free meal?
